Anne O’Regan
Anne O’Regan is a Program Officer on the South and Central Asia Fulbright programs branch at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. She manages the Fulbright programs for India, multi-regional programs, and the Tibetan Scholarship Program. She joined her current branch from the Near East Asia branch in the same office where she served as a program officer managing Fulbright programs for Tunisia, events, and alumni and outreach initiatives. She previously worked as an adjunct lecturer and coordinator for the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program at Drexel University and as an operations coordinator at the Institute of International Education (IIE) for the Gifted Student Scholarship Program sponsored by the King Abdullah University of Science where she supported gifted Saudi Arabian students in pursuit of their undergraduate degrees in the United States. She holds a BA in comparative and international politics from Bryn Mawr College and an MSc in Applied Linguistics from the University of Oxford. She has experience abroad as a proud alumna of the Fulbright ETA program in Turkey and having interned at Tetouan Asmir, a non-profit organization in Tetouan, Morocco where she worked to develop community outreach programs for disadvantaged youth. She also studied abroad at the American University of Cairo, Egypt and in Avignon, France under the auspices of Bryn Mawr College.
