Nishtha Rajbhandari brings over a decade of experience in international higher education and management consulting. As a Senior Program Officer at the Fulbright Commission in Nepal, she is dedicated to advancing global educational exchanges and providing valuable learning opportunities for students and professionals.
Her diverse background spans business management, strategy, accounting, and professional development, with a focus on improving Nepal’s educational infrastructure. She has also led both undergraduate and graduate business programs in the higher education sector, where she honed her leadership skills in academic program management, delivering international degrees, where she gained extensive experience in managing academic programs and supporting students through their educational journey.
In her current role at the Fulbright Commission, Nishtha plays a key role in overseeing programs that promote cross-cultural exchange and strengthen the relationship between Nepal and the U.S. She is deeply committed to helping future leaders access global opportunities and contributing to professional development initiatives. Nishtha also teaches postgraduate MBA students, where she enjoys mentoring the next generation of business leaders and innovators.
Holding a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska, USA, Nishtha’s professional journey also includes four years in management consulting, where she honed her expertise in strategic planning, organizational development, and problem-solving.
