Pavitra Soram brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as Program Manager at the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), having joined the organization in January 2013. Pavitra holds a master’s degree in Geography from Calcutta University with specialization in Regional Planning.

With a diverse professional background spanning foreign exchange, banking, and education, Pavitra has honed her skills in various industries, bringing a unique perspective to her current role. Prior to her tenure at USIEF, she served at the British Council Division in New Delhi for two years, where she made significant contributions to the organization’s mission.

A passionate advocate for animal welfare, Pavitra is known for her love of dogs and actively volunteers for causes aimed at the betterment of their lives. Pavitra is also a dedicated classical Manipuri dancer, having trained in this art form for the past 20 years.
